The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting North Salinas Vikings to 3 in the FIGHTING KNIGHTS non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Hillsdale moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS travel to Branham (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league game on Friday, March 8. The Bruins come into the game with a record of 5-1. Branham won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Notre Dame Spirits (Salinas, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan game, on Tuesday, March 12. North Salinas will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Spirits come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Soquel (Soquel, CA).
