March 7, 2025: Adairsville, GA 30103 In Friday's league game, the host Adairsville Tigers baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Calhoun Yellow Jackets.
The Tigers (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the AAA Region 7 game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Gilmer was tipped by Heritage (Ringgold, GA), 4-3, in a league game.
Next, the Yellow Jackets play the LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) in a AAA Region 7 game, on Tuesday, March 11. Calhoun will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Ramblers go into the game with a 6-5 record after their 4-1 league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA).
