The Langtree Charter Academy Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Bradford Prep Bears to 4 in the Lions league win on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a non-league test on Monday, March 10. Langtree Charter Academy will play a Patriots team coming off a 18-7 league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Bradford Prep drops to 0-2 on the year. The Bears host Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) to play the Crusaders in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Crusaders enter the battle with a record of 1-4. Christ the King won 7-5 in their recent league battle against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)
