Georgia High School Baseball - Flowery Branch held off by North Gwinnett
March 7, 2025: Suwanee, GA 30024 North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA), 16-14 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, North Gwinnett advances its record to 10-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Brookwood (Snellville, GA) to battle the Broncos in a AAAAAA Region 7 match on Monday, March 10. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 7-5. Brookwood won 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA)
The Falcons now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Forsyth for a AAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, March 11. Flowery Branch will battle a Broncos squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Broncos record now stands at 9-4.
