March 7, 2025: Viola, AR 72583 The Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR) baseball trounced the visiting Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR), 16-1 in Friday's league challenge.
The Longhorns now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mammoth Spring for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11.
With the defeat, Shirley drops to 0-4 on the year. The Blue devils host Concord (Concord, AR) to clash with the Pirates in a 1A Region 2 challenge on Monday, March 10. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
