The Trinity Christian Gryphons baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs to 3 in the Gryphons non-league win on Friday.

The Gryphons now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Trinity Christian will play a Hawks team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Southern Maryland Christian Academy drops to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Rockbridge Academy (Millersville, MD) to play the Scots in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Scots go into the test with a record of 0-0.
