In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ripley Vikings basketball team scored a good 88-75 triumph over the PikeView Panthers.

The Vikings (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Greenbrier East topped Independence (Coal City, WV), 55-50, in a non-league contest.
