Ohio High School Basketball - SPIRE Academy holds off Veritas Collegiate Academy
March 7, 2025: Geneva, OH 44041 In Friday's non-league battle, the host SPIRE Academy SPIRE basketball squad scored a tight 58-57 victory over the Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans.
With the victory, SPIRE Academy advances its record to 13-18 on the year. The SPIRE travel to Faith Christian (Dixon, IL) to meet the Falcons in a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 29-5. Faith Christian lost 80-74 in their recent non-league battle against Legacy Academy (Richmond, VA)
The Spartans now own a 24-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Veritas Collegiate Academy will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 71-61 non-league win over GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 27-7.
