The Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) basketball edged the host Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), 48-44 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 18-11 record. They play next when they travel to Kirtland Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 11. Hope Christian will play a Broncos team coming off a 68-23 non-league win over Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Broncos record now stands at 26-3.

With the loss, Lovington falls to 16-13 on the campaign.
