New Mexico High School Basketball - Mescalero Apache holds off Texico
March 7, 2025: Mescalero, NM 88340 The Mescalero Apache Chiefs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Texico Wolverines to 44 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Chiefs now possess a 19-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pecos for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 11. Mescalero Apache will confront a Panthers team coming off a 55-30 non-league win over Jal (Jal, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 24-6.
The Wolverines now own a 17-11 record.
