The Spartans now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Johnston for a Quad County 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Smithfield-Selma will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Midway (Dunn, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Beddingfield moves to 3-2 on the year. The Bruins travel to Holmes (Edenton, NC) to encounter the Aces in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. The Aces go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Holmes won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)
