March 7, 2025: Chula Vista, CA 91910 Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), 9-6 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Hilltop improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to play the Chieftains in a non-league game on Monday, March 10. The Chieftains come into the game with a record of 2-1. Clairemont won 13-1 in their recent non-league game against Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA)
The Monarchs now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Ysidro for a non-league game on Monday, March 10. Monte Vista will play a Cougars team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Morse (San Diego, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
