Arkansas High School Soccer - Batesville knocks off Cave City
March 7, 2025: Batesville, AR 72501 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR) and the visiting Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR), saw Batesville's soccer squad knock off Cave City by a count of 4-1.
The Pioneers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Golden Eagles enter the 5A East battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Greene County Tech by North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Cave City moves to 0-1 on the year. The Cavemen travel to Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to encounter the Mustangs in a 3A North challenge on Monday, March 10. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
