The River Ridge Royal Knights edged the visiting Cypress Creek Coyotes softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Royal Knights meet the East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL).

The Coyotes (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Bulls enter the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Wiregrass Ranch edged Springstead (Spring Hill, FL), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
