In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hernando Tigers softball team scored a nice 16-3 victory over the East Union Urchins.

The Tigers (11-0) will now prepare for their match against Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Arrows go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Clinton gained a win over Pearl (Pearl, MS), 12-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Urchins battle the Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 14. East Union will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Mantachie (Mantachie, MS).
