The SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Gaston Christian Eagles to 5 in the Eagles league win on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory Grove Christian for a NICSAA Metrolina battle on Tuesday, March 18.

With the loss, Gaston Christian moves to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 1-3. Piedmont Community Charter lost 14-7 in their recent league battle against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC)
