South Carolina High School Lacrosse - Clover overwhelms South Mecklenburg

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league game between the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) and the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), saw Clover's lacrosse team achieve victory over South Mecklenburg by a margin of 20-14.

The Blue Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Falcons go into the 5A Upper District 3 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Nation Ford nudged Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC), 19-9, in a league match.

With the defeat, South Mecklenburg drops to 2-2 on the season. The Sabres travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to play the Warriors in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River match on Thursday, March 10. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 3-0. Weddington won 20-9 in their recent non-league match against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC)
