Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mineral Wells for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14.

With the loss, Ferris falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Maypearl (Maypearl, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11.
