California High School Volleyball - Bell can't hold off Maywood Academy
March 8, 2023: Bell, CA 90201 In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Maywood Academy Nighthawks volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Bell Eagles.
The Nighthawks (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Gladiators come into the Southern battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Marquez was edged by South Gate (South Gate, CA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) in a Eastern battle, on Thursday, March 9. Bell will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Rams enter the test with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Garfield (Los Angeles, CA).
