March 8, 2023: Chesnee, SC 29323 East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, East Rutherford upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cavaliers host R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 14. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 1-1. R-S Central lost 14-5 in their recent non-league test against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)
With the defeat, Chesnee falls to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles host Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC) to battle the Wildcats in a test on Friday, March 10. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-1. Blacksburg lost 12-3 in their recent non-league test against Chesnee (Chesnee, SC)
