South Carolina High School Soccer - St. James knocks off Waccamaw
March 8, 2023: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sharks confront the Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. St. James will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Gamecocks enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC).
The Warriors now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lucy Beckham for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. Waccamaw will confront a Bengals team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 3-0.
