Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host San Marin Mustangs (Novato, CA), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Gauchos now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ukiah for a non-league game on Friday, March 10. Casa Grande will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 21-12 non-league loss to Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
