Georgia High School Soccer - Jackson County knocks off Banks County
March 8, 2023: Jefferson, GA 30548 Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA) in a 6A Area 8 challenge, on Friday, March 10. Jackson County will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA).
The Leopards now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union County for a 2A Area 8 challenge on Friday, March 17. Banks County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-2.
