Georgia High School Soccer - Chattahoochee County held off by Jordan
March 8, 2023: Cusseta, GA 31805 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Jordan Red Jackets (Columbus, GA) and the host Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA), saw Jordan's soccer squad get by Chattahoochee County by a count of 3-2.
The Red Jackets now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Spencer for a 2A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 14. Jordan will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Carver (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Chattahoochee County drops to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers host Macon County (Montezuma, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 1A D-II Area 6 test on Friday, March 10. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-3. Macon County won 4-1 in their recent league test against Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA)
