March 8, 2024: Mesquite, TX 75150 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) and the host North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX), saw Lake Highlands's baseball squad knock off North Mesquite by a count of 2-0.
Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Lewisville Farmers (Lewisville, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 9. Lake Highlands will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Farmers enter the battle with a 3-11 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).
The Stallions now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poteet for a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Tuesday, March 12. North Mesquite will play a Pirates squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Community (Nevada, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-5.
