The Bluejays now possess a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wharton for a 4A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, March 12. Needville will face a Tigers team coming off a 14-1 league loss to Navasota (Navasota, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Randle Lions (Richmond, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 9. Sweeny will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 6-8 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX).
