Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA), 65-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Avonworth upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Antelopes travel to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 12. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 16-9. North Catholic won 67-58 in their recent non-league bout against Warren (Warren, PA)
