Kansas High School Basketball - Goodland knocked off by Hesston
March 8, 2024: Goodland, KS 67735 The Hesston Swathers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Goodland Cowboys to 31 in the Swathers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Swathers now sport a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silver Lake for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 9. Hesston will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-49 non-league win over Hayden (Topeka, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 26-0.
The Cowboys (21-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hayden (Topeka, KS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 23-5 record. In their last contest, Hayden was defeated by Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS), 64-49, in a non-league contest.
