Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Raptors confront the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, March 11. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Enka (Enka, NC).

The Stallions now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Carolina International for a Metro Eight 1A challenge on Monday, March 11.
