Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rangers confront the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, March 19. Lone Star will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX).

The Cougars now have a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they host Wakeland for a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Colony will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 1-1 league Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-5.
