Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host La Serna for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. Sonora will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, El Dorado drops to 7-6 on the year. The Golden hawks travel to Katella (Anaheim, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. The Knights come into the game with a record of 3-6. Katella won 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Santiago (Garden Grove, CA)
