Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.

The FIGHTING KNIGHTS now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sequoia for a Peninsula - Bay challenge on Thursday, March 14.

With the loss, Milpitas falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Leland (San Jose, CA) to face the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Leland lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)
