In Saturday's non-league bout, the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) baseball squad the visiting High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC), by a score of 5-3.

Next up, the Lions encounter the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Covenant Day will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, North Surry by Ledford (Thomasville, NC), 20-6, in a non-league bout.
