Alabama High School Baseball - Douglas defeats West Limestone
March 8, 2025: Lester, AL 35647 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Douglas Eagles (Douglas, AL) and the host West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL), saw Douglas's baseball team gain a win over West Limestone by a tally of 8-3.
The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Fighting Saints enter the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, St. Clair County was overwhelmed by Springville (Springville, AL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats face the Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 10. West Limestone will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Russellville (Russellville, AL).
