In Saturday's non-league bout, the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA), by a tally of 16-6.

Next up, the Nighthawks encounter the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout, on Tuesday, March 11. First Flight will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC).

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Seahorses enter the VISAA Virginia Independent bout with a 0-0 record.
