In Saturday's non-league bout, the Tomball Kings Homeschool (Tomball, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX), by a tally of 11-1.

Next up, the Homeschool encounter the Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 8. Tomball Kings will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX).

The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region IV District 29 bout with a 1-11 record. In their last bout, Carroll was overwhelmed by Austin (Austin, TX), 17-4, in a non-league bout.
