The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) and the visiting Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL), saw Northside's baseball team gain a win over Piedmont by a tally of 5-3.

The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Griffin (Griffin, GA). The Bears enter the AAAA Region 3 battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Griffin by Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA), 15-0, in a league battle.
