March 8, 2025: Barnum, MN 55707 Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Barnum Bombers (Barnum, MN), 67-45 in a league match.
With the victory, Staples-Motley upgrades its record to 15-12 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN) to face the Patriots in a AA Section 7 match on Wednesday, March 12. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 20-7. Pequot Lakes won 73-28 in their recent non-league match against Marshall (Duluth, MN)
The Bombers now sport a 18-9 record.
