In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Meade Mustangs basketball team scored a big 72-49 win over the Leonardtown Raiders.

The Mustangs (23-3) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 24-2 record. In their last contest, Laurel smashed Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD), 74-62, in a non-league contest.
