The Pittsburg Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Piedmont Highlanders to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now have a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a Bay Valley outing on Tuesday, March 11. Pittsburg will play a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Piedmont drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Campolindo (Moraga, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Monday, March 10.
