The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sanford Mustangs (Sanford, CO) and the host Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), observed Sanford's basketball team overwhelm Gilpin County by a score of 49-23.

The Mustangs (23-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoehne (Hoehne, CO). The Farmers come into the non-league challenge with a 22-3 record. In their last challenge, Hoehne trounced Center (Center, CO), 58-26, in a non-league challenge.
