The Godby Cougars flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Tarpon Springs Spongers to 13 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Godby will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Columbia (Lake City, FL). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Spongers confront the Carrollwood Day Patriots (Tampa, FL) in a 1A D6 match, on Tuesday, March 11. Tarpon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
