New Mexico High School Baseball - Grants wallops Gallup
March 8, 2025: Grants, NM 87020 The Grants Pirates baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Gallup Bengals to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.
The Pirates now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Grants will play a Demons team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Demons record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Gallup drops to 0-2 on the year. The Bengals host Belen (Belen, NM) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-0.
