In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Linden Lions softball squad scored a close 9-2 triumph over the Argonaut Mustangs.

With the triumph, Linden improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Lions host Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA) to face the Bullfrogs in a contest on Friday, March 21. The Bullfrogs enter the contest with a record of 0-2. Bret Harte lost 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA)

The Mustangs now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Liberty Ranch for a contest on Tuesday, March 25.
