Alabama High School Soccer - Jasper knocks off Austin
March 8, 2025: Decatur, AL 35601 The Jasper Vikings soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Austin Black Bears to 2 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vikings now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hartselle for a 6A Area 13 bout on Tuesday, March 11. Jasper will play a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Athens (Athens, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Austin moves to 5-7 on the year. The Black bears travel to Russellville (Russellville, AL) to play the Golden Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 14. The Golden Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Russellville won 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lawrence County (Moulton, AL)
