In Saturday's non-league test, the Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), by a count of 11-2.

Next, the Generals meet the Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 12. Shafter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Horned Toads go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Edison (Fresno, CA).

The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA). The Drillers go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record.
