March 8, 2025: Glenmora, LA 71433 Lacassine Cardinals (Lacassine, LA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), 8-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Lacassine upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Westlake (Westlake, LA) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12. The Rams enter the game with a record of 4-7. Westlake won 15-11 in their recent non-league game against East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA)
The Hornets now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Rapides for a non-league game on Monday, March 10. Plainview will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 23-7 non-league loss to Northwood (Lena, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.
