March 8, 2025: Collinsville, MS 39325 In Saturday's non-league test, the West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) softball squad got by the visiting Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS), by a tally of 2-1.
Next, the Knights clash with the Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 13. West Lauderdale will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 9-0 record after their 19-4 league win over Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS).
The Hornets (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 8 test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Moss Point held off Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS), 9-6, in a non-league test.
