Georgia High School Soccer - Lakeside nudges Providence Christian Academy
March 9, 2021: Lilburn, GA 30047 Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings confront the Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 11. Lakeside will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA).
The Storm now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Atlanta International for a challenge on Friday, March 12. Providence Christian Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
