Georgia High School Soccer - Union Grove knocks off Woodland
March 9, 2021: Stockbridge, GA 30281 The Union Grove Wolverines soccer team scored 11 points and limited the host Woodland Wolfpack to 1 in the Wolverines league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Wolverines face the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 12. Union Grove will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Greyhounds enter the contest with a 7-3 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA).
The Wolfpack now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Locust Grove for a AAAAA Region 4 contest on Friday, March 12. Woodland will face a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league win over Ola (McDonough, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.
